The hard working New Yorkers deserve better compensation for their hard work. These days people are working harder then ever for less pay. We must raise the minimum wage of New York State to give our citizens a chance to meet the challenges of hard economic time.

LONG OVERDUE! Everything in NY is too expensive these days. Prices go up but our paychecks stay the same. Ridiculous.

rents in this city are insane. how is anyone supposed to live on what they pay now. people are working 2 jobs just to keep the lights on
