Last year students were allowed 60 graded credits and chose their best 45. This year we have 45 graded and 15 ungraded which don't account to what we need but we still have to do them. Certain uni's want 30 merits and 15 distinctions which for anyone with a pass is in a pickle, especially them that only have one offer (Hayley Debenham .....
)Please sign this petition and help us!!! As mature students wanting to study at our choosen university. We have come across a hurdle. The QAA have changed the credit grades leaving many access students a harder challenge to gain and keep a university place.
The universities require 45 graded credits, access used to offer 60+ credits giving a option to give the best grades , well it now offers 45 and no extra credits. For students that may have achieved a pass credit can no longer be accepted at a university of their chosen subject
