Horse access tonthe tail trail could bring a lot of tourism money into the communities. Especially property in the ALR as it could be used for horsey camping etc.!!!!

Horses most definatly need to use the Rail Trail! As for our horse manure it is a clean and useful fertilizer. Next thing you know is some idiot will want cattle owners that access crown land to scoop the poop, or wildlife that access the trail to clean up too! If you can't take the poop stay on the sidewalk!

Horses have helped to build Canada. There is a long tradition that encompasses the right of horses and their riders to travel across country, through wilderness, and to use trails. Horse 'poop' used to be sought after as 'clean' and extremely useful fertilizer (unlike dog poop) - and my veg are growing well this year because of it. Multi-use trails for non motorized users should be available to horses and their riders to share with pedestrians and pedal bikes.

Yes, these trails most definitely should be open to horseback riders as well. Everyone loves to see a horse out enjoying nature at its finest.

Please allow us the ultimate pleasure of riding our X-rails. I promise as a regular user of trails "To Pick Up or More Off the Trail, All Poop My Horse Gifts the X-Rail System'. If I don't give me the same fine as the dog doodie group.

I am a horse owner/rider, and riding is instrumental for mental health and contributes to the well being of youth.

Horses and riders need access to all trails, they are part of our history and define us as Canadians

Horse folks spend a lot of money traveling to find trails to ride with their horses.

Considering that horses are permitted on all public roads, I see no reason why they should be excluded from a public use trail.

trail use for all is the only answer. we all cn adapt as needed, no special interest individual trails please and not paved as they get too hot in the summer sun and dont allow water to disperse when needed so will cause erosion in sensitive areas

Multi-use trails should be for ALL to enjoy!

Horses helped build the trail. Utterly ridiculous that I would have to even sign a petition for this user group.

I believe every trail should be accessable to horses , they built most of the early ones , We are having the same problem with a donated trail here in the Slocan Valley, like your petion gives me an idea to do the same
