Many trails throughout our Country and Province were made by horses before trains even came along. Let's keep our trails multi-use that include horses.
I have ridden the Banks-Vernonia State trail in Oregon. This multi-use trail that includes horses, is a great example of how we can all enjoy traveling around our Province. Let's do this right!

Horses are part of our country/farm/orchard living and should be a part of the enjoyment for riders as well as others.

Trail riders work to improve the trails to be shared by all, and try to leave no trace. Why wouldn't we be welcome?

It works wonderfully when trails are designed for multi-use. I'm a huge fan of the multi-use trail designs that Shuswap Trail Alliance has done around Salmon Arm!!!

I simply don't understand why some people think that horses ruin trails. The only time I've seen trail damage is when motorized vehicles are being used, especially when the ground is damp. Only those uninformed about horses and how they travel would think it is them that do the damage.

horses are part of our natural environment, there should be no reason why they can't be on trails.

Keep the rail trail crush gravel so suitable for all users the same as the Greenway! This will benefit all as will be less cost than asphalt.
