This petition has been set up to the oppose the introduction of parking permits in Ladygrove, Forestdale. Residents would like to be consulted before any decision about parking is made on their behalf.
I have spent the last few days talking to neighbors who are worried about how these permits will change the character of our streets. The council needs to understand that we live here and deserve a real seat at the table before they force these changes upon us.

I am a resident of Ladygrove. My boyfriend now drives a van, and (I have just found out) even with my permit, he is not allowed to park at my home. Which is going to be an issue. I will also (shortly) be renting my 2nd bedroom, but when I do we will not be able to have visitors who drive on the same evening.

This has been introduced in Woodpecker Mount and it has caused a lot of hassle - it is the residents getting the tickets. We are all adults and can talk to each other about the parking. We do not need to be policed!

This might be a good idea, but as a resident, I would like to have all the facts before a decision is made.

Maybe the directors of Ladygrove are treating the plot owners, as ERANT children. ( as was said to me by a director). No to the current proposals.

This has happened before and did not work. Silly idea, waste of time and money.
