Having freshmen live on campus for 2 years will most likely cause a decline in enrollment to the university. As a sorority woman, I also agree that it will negatively effect Greek Life.

I had to commute to and from Roanoke because Radford tried to FORCE me to live on campus even after I explained I had signed a lease for an apartment and paid the security deposit. They said that wasn't their problem even though I had asked BEFORE I signed anything for the apartment and the housing department told me I COULD LIVE OFF CAMPUS AND IT WASNT A PROBLEM. Then three weeks later they say it's not okay anymore?? THEY ARE STUPID

Having lived of campus the most of my 5 years at Radford, I was able to earn valuable life experience for renting and managing issues with rentals before going our into the graduated life, this was incredibly helpful for me. In money management and rental experience, forcibly taking this away from prospective students, not just Greeks, is irresponsible, ignorant, and negligent

Not only will this affect Greek life, but on campus housing is expensive compared to rooming with a group of people in some locations

I think this is absurd and there is no reason 2 years on campus should be mandatory. Just feels like the university is trying to grub for more money.
