As many of you know Radford University is Implementing a new 2-year housing policy for anyone coming to Radford. This will greatly impact greek life as a whole and our ability to fill our respective chapter houses. Please sign the petition and pass it along so we can get a new policy implemented that will not effect Greek Life ASAP

The petition reached 250 signatures today. I am now finalizing a formal letter to the university administration to request a meeting regarding the housing policy impact on chapter occupancy.

Having freshmen live on campus for 2 years will most likely cause a decline in enrollment to the university. As a sorority woman, I also agree that it will negatively effect Greek Life.
Having lived of campus the most of my 5 years at Radford, I was able to earn valuable life experience for renting and managing issues with rentals before going our into the graduated life, this was incredibly helpful for me. In money management and rental experience, forcibly taking this away from prospective students, not just Greeks, is irresponsible, ignorant, and negligent
Not only will this affect Greek life, but on campus housing is expensive compared to rooming with a group of people in some locations
Students shouldn't be forced to live on campus after their first year in any situation and Greek life students are so involved and being on campus away from their organization creates problems and we need our members to fill our chapter houses
I think it's ridiculous that freshman should have to live on campus for two years cost too much money plus there's already not enough dorm space and it affects Radford Greek life
Radford alum and it’s way to much to ask for two years on campus.

I know how hard it can be to fill chapter houses. Rising sophomores looking to get out of dorms are crucial. Best of luck.
