I'm not even involved in Greek life, but I know this is greatly affecting Greek life - and student life in general. You can't make us stay for two years - especially when the internet is incredibly slow/unreliable, the dorms are crowded, and it's so expensive. My family could save so much money if I could live off campus, but I doubt anyone creating this policy cares about that lmaoooo.

Guess you will get a lot more commuter students. Some people just can't afford to live on campus. Make Radford Great Again

Students shouldn't be forced to live on campus after their first year in any situation and Greek life students are so involved and being on campus away from their organization creates problems and we need our members to fill our chapter houses

Ridiculous. A university shouldn't dictate where an adult lives. I understand freshman year but after that a student has the right to decide just as I did when I was a sophomore in my hay day.

Dear new pres, Bri-Bri
A. Do you want to go to war with Price Williams? Cause this is how you go to war with Price Williams.
B. We know your goal is to eliminate Greek life. We're not stupid. This move is a means to force out organizations through attrition. New members will hold off rushing for two years, and cause orgs with low numbers to run the risk of falling below nationals requirements causing the removal of the charter.
C. This also seems like a thinly veiled attempt to try and eliminate partying/drinking for if these orgs lose membership &/or have a number of members who cannot live off campus, then they'll lose "party houses." Lemme let you in on a little secret, until you find a way to eliminate bordem, the students will still drink like fish. In addition, students who attend Greek parties, have protection from over-indulging due to FIPG rules and the fact that no organization wants to have a student have alcohol poisoning or pass away due to consumption. Rather, these orgs are hyper vigilant in trying to prevent this because not only are they liable, but nationals will revoke their charter. If you put this through, then you just put student safety in the hands of random people who will just drag the sick person outside and leave them there. You'll go from having accountability to having a liability. But hey, that's not important to you I guess.
D. WE'LL NEVER FORGET #GoatGate2016
E. All students on campus for the first 2 years huh? Hmm I'm sure parents will be delighted that a 23 year old freshman will be living across from their 17 year old daughter. Well I mean, the daughter might love it ;) but mom, not so much.
F. This represents the grade I give your policies since beginning your tenure. Jesus man, you're blowing it harder than Trump lol.

living on campus for two years deprives college students of learning how to live independently
