Events from a past fraternity and it's members should not affect today's current fraternities and members
Greek Life is about school pride and achievement, not only in the classroom, but also after graduation. Prospective students (graduating high schoolers and JuCo transfers) are not only looking for a school that makes the most financial sense, they're looking for a place they will enjoy to spend at least the next 2-4 years of their lives (and that typically doesn't involve dorms the whole time). They're looking for a school with pride and energy, and that's exactly what allowing Greek housing will bring to MSSU. Pride is more than foam cups in a fence. The people want to see houses and prestige. Let us give that to them.
If you dont want the feel of a commuter campus, support Greek life and housing. Every campus we visited had in campus Greek housing and a positive presence on campus.
This would be a great benefit to all on-campus residents and would help remove Southern's stigma of being a commuter school!
Greek life is integral in recruitment not only for Greek life but also for the school. Look at competitors such as Pitt, Northeest, Springfield etc. if we want to grow we need Greek Life
Greek housing makes a university more appealing. MSSU needs this chance to grow.

I believe getting Greek housing at MSSU will bring in so many more students to the Greek community!
