I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have stepped up to demand better safety for these horses. This momentum belongs entirely to you because I never thought this would gain such widespread attention.

it is heartbreaking to watch these beautiful animals get pushed to the limit until they break. racing needs to change now.
Fix the tracks and stop pumping them full of drugs. Disgusting state of things.
THESE HORSES ARE NOT MACHINES. Stop running them into the ground for a buck.
so sad. poor eight belles deserved way better than that.
If u love horse racing u should want the horses to be safe. simple as that. stop the cruelty.
