Change of Organiser for PCGB London Region
We the undersigned, being present and past members of Porsche Club of Great Britain (hereafter "the club"), and located within the catchment area of Region 20 (Greater London) hereby petition the Board of Directors of the club to take notice of our dissatisfaction with the current Regional Organiser.
We further petition the Board of Directors to require the current Regional Organiser to stand down from the post, and to cooperate with members and participants of Region 20 in the appointment of a replacement Regional Organiser.
The current Regional Organiser does not fufill the duties and responsibilities the post requires. Repeated efforts have ben made to communicate the concerns of the R20 members to the current Regional Organiser, but for the past 3 years the situation has remained unchanged.
The concerns and frustrations of London area club members are extensively described in the club website forum. Direct representations have also been made to the Regional Director.
Under the stewardship of the previous Regional Organiser, R20 was one of the best supported and most active regions. It would attract PCGB member participation from adjacent regions, and those members are equally frustrated. At present Region 20 is effectively moribund.
Many former club members elected not renew PCGB membership due to inactivity in R20, understandably taking the view of "What's the point of belonging to a club that does nothing?" A majority of these former members have committed to rejoin the club if this petition succeeds.
Previously accusations have been made suggesting this initiative is the work of one or two antagonists. This petition will show that the views expressed represent a significant majority of Region 20 club members.
