We voted for a prom king and queen. However our administration thinks this goes agains the “quest moto” and therefore wants to punish those who went along with it. We think this is an injustice and that we did nothing wrong for them to punish us. However we need your help to make this true. They need to know more than a few people actually will own up to this. This was a group effort and we need your support to show them just how many of us care about and stand for this

Updates

The momentum behind this effort has grown beyond expectations. This level of public interest demonstrates that the student body remains unified regarding the recent administrative decisions.

This isn’t excluding everyone. The form said to write in any senior, it did not give us a list of predetermined people to choose from. It gave people the choice, all of us were perfectly okay with this and all of us were happy to celebrate each other and cheer for each other. The people involved should not be getting in trouble for something we were all happy to be a part of.

Quest is a high school just like HHS, SCHS, and AHS. Each of those schools have prom queen and king, why can’t we? Is there a divide that differs quest from any other high school? If so, that is unreasonably alienating an entire class from feeling normal. Our prom was amazing and for once I felt like I was living the high school experience. I never felt excluded, in fact I was elated to cheer on my friends who won. I don’t see anyone that was against it!

He changed our tradition and it was GOOD. We actually felt like a normal school for the night and no one has complained besides admins.

I don’t see how this excludes people in any way. If you really think about it majority of the students get excluded out of everything else. I see nothing wrong with and if Parker gets in trouble for it then we all get in trouble because majority of us was involved. It’s doesnt matter to me

Everyone was included in the voting. We as students should decide on our traditions because they are meant to celebrate us.
