Recently, the New Trier school board has succeeded in putting into practice first and third quarter department exams. These midterms will be, in most ways, like another set of finals. All New Trier students will be required to take the exams, including seniors. The administration plans to put these tests into effect during the 3rd quarter of the 2010-2011 school year. The tests are meant to keep students in check throughout the whole year, rather than just the end of each semester. Please sign this petition to eliminate these unnecessary and stress-inducing exams.
