For a long time until now, midterms have been structured that you take one per day and you return home after completion, with the rest of the day to study for your next exam. Now, the midterms system has been changed- now, you not only have more than one midterm per day, but you also have to be present in all of your other classes throughout the day in between the midterms you have to take.
This not only creates an immense amount of extra stress for us as students, but it can lead to a negative effect on our mental health and our GRADES- balancing ONE midterm per day is enough stress! Now we have MORE THAN ONE IN A DAY, plus our OTHER CLASSES??
Does this make you frustrated? Stressed? You’re not alone. Sign this petition- put your name on the list- so midterms can return back to the way things were- and our mental health and grades can reach the levels they need to be. This petition is going to Mr. Thompson, the director of High School, so our voices can be heard on this essential issue!

this is actually insane. leave the midterms alone!!
I believe the old midterm strategy was very effective and was a lot easier for us students. I believe that by employing the strategy you guys are imposing on us, it may lead to us suffering as a result of increased stress and burnout.
The new midterm rule would cause more stress for students because we would be taking 2 midterms per day meaning having to study double for that day. The old midterm rule gives students the ability to spread out their studying and not cause as much stress
It’s really important to be able to come home after midterms to be able to study and succeed for the next exams.
I agree with everything that this petition states. Also the high school midterms will collide with the middle school ones, and it will be extremely confusing to which classes we would have to attend.

How are we supposed to focus on regular classes when we have two huge exams on the same day? This is just setting us up to fail.
