Riverside Cemetery leadership confirmed this morning that all scheduled demolition plans for these gravesites are cancelled permanently. We successfully secured a written guarantee that these plots will remain undisturbed moving forward. I will remain in contact with the local oversight board to ensure full compliance with this agreement.

I am the daughter of one of the grave diggers that used to work at riverside. Named Curtis Joslin. After we left that cemetery went downhill. All i know is my grandmothers and aunts things are missing, and they arent wanting to do anything about it.
My family and friends are buried at this cemetary, and this man has taken flowers off the tombstones themselves! He needs to go for desecrating people's plots and hurting people who visit their loved ones.
Who ever has stolen the personal items left on these graves should have charges brought up on them. These grave plots were bought ! Therefore they are owned & considered private property! No one has the right to deface these graves without the owners permission. Absolutely disgusting that this is being allowed!
They should be ashamed of themselves. These people's loved ones have had memories placed at there resting place. It unfathomable to think that anyone would remove them or even give them some sort of warning to allow them to remove them so that they could at the least save them.
My mother and father's and my nephews graves were completely gutted of everything! This is a sad time that we live in, that we still get disrespected after we have passed. This is a true tragedy that has happened to my family and everyone else's families!

I think its redicilious that they are demoloshing things on these graves that have been up for years even when they are being well kept up on maintained and not offensive. I dont think proper protocol is being followed and its disrespectful to the families as well as to to the love ones that have passed. Something needs to be done
