Katie was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of 2. This autoimmune disorder mainly affects her blood. She lives with joint pain, headaches and other complications. One complication that is terrifying is the development of lymphoma. She has been diagnosed and then relapsed 4 times with the most recent relapse being May 30th 2008. She will continue to fight.
