We don't live in Soo anymore, however when we do get up North in the winter we love to take our daughter to go skating. Sometimes it isn't possible because there is no rink open or available. This is ridiculous considering it is a winter activity that should be taken advantage of! So for the sake of not only our child but all the children who want to skate. Let's all stand together to get this rink opened again. As it also will inspire children to be more active as well! Thank You

I live at 229 spadina right across the street from where the rink was I have kids involved in hockey that love to skate there are lots of kids that would use this rink I would volunteer my time to help out to get this rink up and going for kids

Please reopen this rink - the west end needs it! Even with the Merrifield rink open there are many kids in bayview and surrounding neighbourhoods who would benefit. Merrifield is usually to busy to even find parking in the winter - another rink is needed..

Played mostly at David Kyle rink but was at the Zuke's a couple of times. Brother Al and son Ryan played there many times, and loved it. Great memories playing with Bay View Athletics. Mike Zuke's name is synonymous with hockey in the SOO and throughout Northern Ontario.

It's bad enough there is not to much for the kids to do here in the Sault...open this rink back up!!!!gets the kids outdoors and away from all the technology that's taking over the world....get active and having fun at the same time :)

Spent most of my childhood on this rink both in mr Zukes back yard/garden and on spadina/Pittsburg even spent my early teenage years volunteering building and maintaining at mike Zukes memorial park. Everyday was spent here in the winter. It's a crying shame that this rink is no longer going Please bring back this staple of my childhood.

Grew up playing on this ice. As a teenager my friends and I spent many hours even late at night maintaining the ice. No reason this can't be done again. Great location. Big rink shack. It's was a shame to see it close after it was dedicated to an icon on this community.
