i was bborn and raised on glasgow avenue, my dad took care of that rink hope the neighbourhood can get their rink back.

I learned to play hockey on Mike Zukes rink in his yard! Spent a lot of my childhood on his rink.

Would love to see the rink reopened after all these years...played my first game of hockey on Mr Zuke's rink.alot of good memories and the best outdoor hockey in town.

I lived across the street from Mike Zuke for many years. That's were I learned to skate and play hockey.
Mike was a great man and should always be remembered for what he did for the community. I will never forget him.

needs to be open for the kids every year.. Not only for the kids but for hockey too. That rink is a memorial to mike zuke.. It should have never been closed in the first place.

I grew up in Bay View. Skated at Mike Zukes rink! I also worked in the canteen when it was open. Nothing better to see kids have a place to go to have fun!

My husband and i lived in the west end for years and our boys always went and played hockey at Mike Zukes rink. My husband and i even worked the canteen there those kids need the rink back instead of playing hockey on the streets plus they'll have a place to warm up
