There is a new procedure that will be going into effect quickly stating that the volume for our outdoor events will be lowered to 70 decibels. Non-Athletic and Athletic will be highly affected by this new procedure if we don't do something about it now. Numbers speak volumes so speak up!
The emails I receive from those of you facing these restrictions are heavy and they remind me why this fight matters. Quiet is not always the answer when the life of our community events is being drained away. I am still pushing for a meeting with the board despite the silence I get from their offices.

The wind is picking up and it feels like people are finally listening to the frustration we all feel. It has been a long road to get this much attention but I am not planning on stopping now.

70 decibels is basically a whisper lol. How are we supposed to hear the game over the crowd?

Are they serious? You can barely hear a regular conversation at 70db. Total joke.

This is ridiculous. The school games are the highlight of my weekend and now we have to sit in silence? Get real.
