We, the undersigned, wish to express concern about the possible impacts the True North Wilderness Programs LLC, proposal will have on the Public Access Easement in place on the Lathrop Tract.
When taken together, we feel the proposal will meaningfully impact the public’s access and use and enjoyment of the parcel for the many recreational purposes defined in the Easement. We ask the Fayston Development Review Board and the State of Vermont to do what is allowed and appropriate to preserve this hard won public access for hiking, hunting, skiing across the parcel and in perpetuity.

The volume of support for this petition has gained the attention of the Fayston Development Review Board. My counsel is currently reviewing the proposal documents to prepare our formal testimony for the upcoming proceedings.

my family has been hiking that land since i was a kid. dont let them close it off for some private group. keep it open for everyone.
we use that trail for skiing every winter. its bad enough we have private property signs everywhere else. leave this one for us.

THATS PUBLIC LAND. stop letting these companies take away what belongs to the town. leave the lathrop parcel alone.
