The public deserves acces to this publicly funded resevoir. Self propelled, non motorized vessels should be allowed to paddle and fish these waters.

I have lived in Chesterfield for 45 years and have fished in the reservoir for 26 years. we live about 10 min. away from there it is a shame we have to travel out side of the county alot of times to fish Amelia or powhatan nottaway. We pay taxex to Chesterfield we should be able to fish in Chesterfield.

Everyone should be able to have boat access and all access to the water, it's not like it's ever overcrowded. It was horrible of Brandermill to exclude the fireworks to only Brandermill residents...as a Brandermill resident, I purposely didn't go to their presentation. I heard it was awful anyway.

I have caught and witnessed many fish in the seventies that would keep fishermen buying licenses, supplies and other products for years to come. Chesterfield and the surrounding areas have the worst access to fishing of any state of country that I have fished in my 61 years. Politics control all localities but dominate Chesterfield, VA. Every land major purchase has political connections.
