Before the takeover, PSE&G sent a letter to all customers stating the first bill will be slightly higher than there would be an increase of about 10%. Everyone I know was raised approximately $100. The media needs to take note of this and come to the rescue of all Long Islanders. Cable Channel 12, Verizon Channel 1, Newsday - start reporting on this.

Absolutely unacceptable! I thought things were supposed to improve with this takeover! How long are we going to be punished for LILCOs incompetence
How does a utility comp. get away with more then doubling the rates in one year?

I recently have taken over the utility bills in my home, and can't imagine how much money i have to pay out each month for the heat in my house, this is crazy , no wonder way some many of us move out of New York
