We, the undersigned, share the belief that Spring Hills Baptist Church (SHBC) has failed in its interactions with its partner school--Granville Christian Academy (GCA) -- and the school’s representatives to follow the written Word of God. We further hold that the false representations and accusations that were leveled by SHBC against GCA’s administrators were detrimental to both organizations, their affiliated families, to Celeste Stevenson and Nancy Warner, and most significantly, to the Kingdom of God. Upon seeking Godly direction and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we believe it is in the best interests of SHBC, GCA, and the member families of each institution to seek to promote healing and to affirm the presence of our Heavenly Father in the midst of our human failings. To that end, we seek the formal and legally-binding separation of SHBC and GCA, as well as the reinstatement of Celeste Stevenson and Nancy Warner to their former positions at GCA. Together, we believe that these steps towards reconciliation are being taken to glorify God and to serve as an outward example of our Heavenly Father’s plea for us to love one another.
The momentum generated by this petition demonstrates a significant commitment to pursuing truth and restoration for our school community. This response encourages those of us seeking positive change to remain steadfast as we advocate for the reinstatement of our administrators and a formal separation between the institutions.

Absolute shame what the church did to these ladies. Totally uncalled for and ungodly behavior.
