Please deny this zoning change. The area around Ponca Trail is unique and part of what makes Kirkwood a vibrant, special , and diverse community. The developers can invest elsewhere.

I fail to see how this helps anyone other than the developer. Is it the responsibility of the City to guarantee developers a profit? Why else would this be re-zoned? The zoning was estabolished before the developer bought the property. There is no benefit to this historical neighborhood in creating higher density development. I grew up in this neighborhood and hate seeing this wonderful City of Kirkwood lose what made it great.

The Kirkwood City Council should be ashamed at themselves for even considering this zoning change. I have seen first hand what smaller lots are like and the houses are so close you can almost touch both houses when standing between them. Better choice would be R-1/R-2 but an even better choice would be don't build houses at all, keep the trees, then we get better air that we breathe, better for the environment, less rain runoff, less washout and keeps Kirkwood the way it is and the way it shoud be kept. Clear cutting trees to build homes is the biggest waste of this natural resource and should be outlawed. Keep my friends neighborhood the way it, beautiful!
