Mental health problems should be taught more at school to make everyone aware of how people are actually effected and how to help

Good idea! Wish there were ideas for the schools to follow on this petition rather than just "HEY. FIX IT SCHOOLS." A lot of them don't even know where to start or are uneducated. Help them!

It is extremely important that we help students with metal health issues and just casting them a side is just immorally wrong, this is why we need to put in place certain things to help students resolve this and move on and have a great life!

This is so important - people need to be educated about mental illnesses and the effect they have on people's lives. Battling this sort of thing is so hard and schools need to start offering support.

Mental health is a serious condition affecting millions of teenagers across Britain. It's about time that all the stereotypes and crazy prejudice around it stopped and schools, parents and also other students are taught and so therefore learn how to deal with and tackle these issues properly.

schools should encourage the inclusion of people suffering with mental health issues, rather than cutting them out of actives, as it doesn't help

Our mental health should never come second to a piece of homework or a school's work targets. We aren't robots, we're humans and it's about time that schools begin to listen and take into consideration that we don't work like a plugged in machine. We need to breathe.

With mental health issues, a good support system is very important helping those who suffer from them. Now awareness is getting around, many of us are fortunate enough to have great supporting friends- but if the schools aren't doing enough to help, then something needs to be done. We need more people aware of this issue :)
