Batavia High School Amnesty International Youth Group
Every person deserves privacy. Please consider signing this petition to encourage Congressman Randy Hultgren to cosponsor the GPS Act. Currently, law enforcement (from local to federal levels) is able to continuously collect geolocation data- in simpler words, the government is able to access your location at practically any time. This data can be used against vulnerable groups such as racial minorities and activists in courts of law. It is our hope that Congressman Hultgren will be able to help our group protect the privacy and safety of American citizens by promoting the GPS Act and its tenets. The GPS Act would prevent geolocation data from being collected without a warrant, and for this reason we believe that it should be passed.

I was just reading through the comments and honestly it is wild how many people feel the exact same way about this surveillance stuff especially with how normal it has become to just let apps track us everywhere we go. My inbox has been completely swamped which is great but also a little overwhelming while I try to figure out the best way to present all these names to the Congressman because he really needs to see that we are not going away quietly.

I really thought this might just be a small group thing but seeing people from all over actually clicking through and signing is kind of overwhelming honestly. It feels like the message about warrants and basic privacy is hitting home for a lot more folks than I originally dared to hope which is just wild to think about.

Thanks for recognizing this issue and bringing it forward. It's important work and I'm glad someone is watching the watchers. Politicians of any stripe should have no problem to support this act. PJG
SERIOUSLY WHO GAVE THEM THE RIGHT TO TRACK US?? this is just creepy and needs to stop now.

The government has no business tracking my phone without a judge saying so. Glad you guys are looking into this.
