I love in Departure Bay and as the city grows more crowded I would like to see the suggestions outlined here acted on.

We have to reclaim safety at the beach. Too much noise and the noisey don’t think about safety first!!!!!! At its most fundamental level, noise is any unwanted, random, or irregular interference that disrupts. Recommendation: Reduce speed limit to 30k all time; photo radar with applicable fines. More speed bumps. “Penalties that are deterrents”! Bay Resident least 40 years and can hear the waves when calm!!!!! Haven’t heard waves all summer.!.

Too many people have been hurt unnecessarily. Please address this issue!

I live in the neighbourhood and the increased volume of traffic at the speed at which it travels has become profoundly dangerous for pedestrians.

We go there often with our small grandchildren. The youngest one pushed the crosswalk button and started to walk. A suv came flying and had I not grabbed her by the collar and pulled her back, she would not be here today. I recommend putting speed bumps all along there.

We live in the neighbourhood and consistently hear cars speeding way too fast down Departure Bay Road. Often they’ll come tearing around the corner onto our neighbourhood street where kids ride their bikes. People should be the priority here, not cars.

Safety should be too priority for the community.

How many deaths does it take for this problem to become important to Krog?

Kids cross the road all the time, its not a highway, its a park
