With the stretch of Loudoun County Parkway that recently opened up to Creightons Road, and the imminent extension all the way to Route 50 (in 2017), residents along that stretch are already facing increased vehicle traffic, with a great deal of road noise that one can hear even when doors and windows are closed, and the expectation is that that will dramatically increase over the next year. There isn’t any real privacy either as the tree buffer in the backyard is sparse, and much worse in the winter after all the leaves fall.

There is a growing concern that access to our community (and easy getaway) by anyone is a likely possibility. With the recent vehicle and home break-ins, we need to have a barrier to keep our community safe. It is important to understand that this does not only affect homes along Loudoun County Parkway, but rather, all LVII residents.

This is our time to let Toll Brothers, HOA (Cardinal Management) and VDOT know that we care about the safety and security of our families, fellow residents and our community. We are planning to actively work with the HOA, VDOT , Toll Brothers and Loudoun County Supervisors to address the above concerns and request them to come up with a solution that is reasonable and agreeable to the majority of us.

I was just out in the backyard listening to that constant hum of traffic again and it honestly feels like the windows are vibrating which is just wild because when we moved in it was actually quiet. People keep messaging me about the break-ins and it is clear we are all worried about the same stuff especially with how easy it is for anyone to just cut through our neighborhood now that the parkway is open.

I really never expected this much momentum when I first started typing out my frustrations at midnight because of the noise rattling the windows again. It is wild to see how many people are actually feeling this exact same pressure and wanting a real barrier against all that traffic. Now I just need to figure out how to get all these names in front of the right people at the HOA and VDOT because their silence is getting pretty old.

Safety is very important as several burglary incidents have happened already.also concerns on staranger cars parked in visitors parking slots.

Having a wall will add safety and security to the community. I'm surprised that this is needing a petition and signatures. This should have been a plan in toll brothers while building the community.

There are multiple reasons which points towards having the sound barrier walls on the new stretch of LCP like - reduce noise pollution - safety for neighborhood considering the recent increase in burglaries - safety for kids , deer's

The wall should be built alongside the road so that the trees are still visible to the residents of Loudoun Valley II.

When I signed up for the house, Toll sales manager mentioned they will fill the space (gap in the tree line) behind my house with trees. It did not happen so far.

It is very important to build the wall so that it reduces the noise levels and also for the security of the community given we saw many car break-ins recently.
