Hello there!

This is a petition for the Attorneys class to collect signatures from those who are of the opinion that our October 2020 examinations should continue as previously planned.

These signatures will be used as proof before the relevant administrators (in form of a letter enclosed in an email) to demonstrate our wish to return to the timetable and format of exams previously provided.

Thank you so much for your help!

Updates

October 14, 2020

I have been reading your messages about how much this uncertainty is affecting your preparation and mental wellbeing. I am currently drafting the letter to the administration, as we deserve a clear plan that respects the original schedule.

Seeing this level of support reminds me why I started this fight for our class. The momentum behind us proves that we are united in demanding the fair testing schedule we were promised.

Changing the exam schedule now is so unfair to us. We already planned our study time around the original dates and now they expect us to just flip everything at the last minute.

Total lack of communication from the admin. Stop moving goalposts on us.

The school arrived at the decision without consulting the main stakeholders. Moreover, the notice was too short as the exams were set to start next week. Furthermore, in my case, I live with vulnerable parents who have been diagnosed with diabetes and other serious conditions. This puts them at risk as both of them have already been allowed to work from home by their organisations.

The re-opening plan has not been properly put across, need further consulting with the stakeholders

The reopening is a poorly thought-out idea decided without the much needed consultation of key stakeholders
