This is a must get done adoption to open space. There is enough building going on in town. We need some thing that will preserve nature in what a gift to us. Every Ridgefield I should petition for the saving of this land.

This is an underhanded land grab -- from a town that claims to prioritize preservation of open space.

Please save this open space. It is home to much wildlife who are being forced out of habitats all over town with rampant building. Please keep Ridgefields country feel and stop over developing. It's so sad.

We don’t need more traffic on Prospect Ridge Road as it is already a pass through and at times like the Indy 500. Let’s keep it safe for residents already living here and the children who use scalzo field, not add to the congestion already here. Stop trying to makeover what Ridgefield is, a lovely village in a beautiful town ant not a suburb of New York.

Our Planning and Zoning Commissioners need to stand up to developers and defend our town!

There is obviously corruption within the town government if I have to sign a petition like this one.

2 POCD Reports show that the residents value open space and prevention of overdevelopment. These 2 paid for reports, a decade apart, are largely being ignored to the detriment of Ridgefield.

This is the only open space left in town, and it must stay that way....nothing is being done about the severe traffic problem we already have, let alone what this would bring

We do not have the infrastructure to support this. And this kind of development should be open to a vote on local ballots.

No more development.

While I fully support Affordable Housing, I believe this location should be retained as open space and or a recreation area for all of Ridgefield to benefit from.

This needs to be voted on by the residents of Ridgefield as it involves a major zoning change. Do NOT build on Main Street.

The piece that David Goldberg wrote in the CT Post is so in favor of desegregating our Town, my question is why did he pick Ridgefield when he first moved here. He'll be like others in the past years who moved here for the schools and as soon as their children graduated from high school, moved out of town and left the people who have lived here all there lives with the taxes and bills for all the schools and the higher taxes. This town is more diverse then it has ever been in the past.

What are these people trying to do to our beautiful town. There are other places in this state that would be more appropriate that our town. More traffic, more children to over populate the schools, and probably need another school.
