To be unable to walk outside our front door without feeling fear is not acceptable.Policing is unfortunately going backwards and is reflected in neighbourhood crime.

Increased muggins and burglaries since the restructuring of resources away from Putney is an extremely concerning trend.

most concerned about the local problems. Putney used to be a very safe area - all my pots and plants were stolen from my front porch.

Putney has historically been a safe neighbourhood. Please help reverse this worrying trend of burglaries, car thefts and muggings. As a community we are very concerned.

We were burgled on October 8th 2017 at 6.30pm. We were disappointed that the 'case'was closed in 17 hours. Our FOI research shows burglary and car crime at least as prominent in this area as 3 years ago. We did not research muggings.

The reduction in placing levels is a cause for increasing concern. Happy to pay more council tax to reverse the trend.

I have noticed that there is a less of a physical presence of uniformed officers in Putney and the surrounding areas. I appeal to the council to bring this to the attention of the Mayor and restore the presence of police officers that we have previously enjoyed. Police presence acts as a deterrent to criminals and helps to keep our streets safe. They are vital for our community.

I am concerned that the reduction in physical presence by the police is seen as an opportunity for criminals to increase their focus on our area. This needs to be addressed with urgency. London can only be a great city if it is a safe city.

My 17 year old son was robbed at knife point on Saturday night, 10pm, walking along St John's Avenue. He is now afraid to walk down the road to the tube and is diverting his journey onto the Upper Richmond Road in the hope that he won't be mugged there as it is a main road. His two brothers are also now on edge when walking locally. This cannot continue. The police have been fantastic but they have neither the resources nor the political support to police this area effectively any more.

Is it true that the local police say there are between 3-10 muggings a night in Putney yet police resources have been reallocated out of the area. The Council needs to address this with the Mayor of London urgently.

We need more resources in Putney to make the area safe for people to walk about without being muggged or threatened

We regard local policing in Putney as vital to safety, success and vitality of our local community. We strongly believe any actions to the contrary are short sighted in the extreme and fly in the face of the well established benefits of local policing and its cost effectiveness.

Good visible policing is essential to every community and we should expect to have a strong police presence in Putney.

I would very much like to see increased police support in our area. If thieves think officers never patrol our area, there will be complacency as they will be sure to think they can get away with their crimes.

We are very concerned that the level of policing in our area of Putney has dropped

Not acceptable that resources are being sent from our ward to pacify east London labour voters. Police are there to protect and serve all communities and should not be politicised by the Mayor.

We need strong, effective policing in West Putney.
