These subdivisions are ruining rural Santa Rosa county. Critically important animal and plant habitats are being taken away. Animals that are native only to this area of Florida like the American mink, the endangered banana spider, and also protected manatees have been spotted in the Blackwater River. There are also endangered pitcher plants growing wild in this area, the ONLY pitcher plants native to North America. I suggest you all research these amazing species and rethink taking over their homes and effectively contributing to their extinction.

We moved to the country to get away from the subdivisions and we need our land for agriculture!! Support the farmers, where would you be without them??

It's about time somebody started standing up for the farmers and long time Santa Rosa County residents. We need to stop all this chaotic building since they are doing so without proper infrastructure updates and improvements.

We moved out to the country because that’s what we wanted country and now big development is moving out to the country developing in North Santa Rosa. It’s not what the voters want. Remember ya’ll work for us and we will vote out those who can’t seem fit to keep the developers off our land. We will just vote you out.

Keep our farmland producing much needed crops. The soil in this area is truly meant for farming. Don't waste it on Subdivisions! Those can go other areas that have no farming potential!

I too have noticed Santa Rosa is getting crowded and do not wish for this to get worse.

I would add that it should be important moving forward that elected and appointed government officials carefully vet the surrounding area of ANY proposed building project, taking into account the surrounding roadways, storm water management and other county responsibilities, analyzing them for their capacity, condition, etc, and how the proposed project will effect those systems before a permit is granted.
