My family left the subdivision to live in rural Santa Rosa County. We were assured it would stay that way. The commissioners did not ask us how we felt about an alternative subdivision provision.

If I had wanted to be able to see my neighbor next door I wouldn't have moved to the country. Also if I have to obey setback requirements, everyone should have to, especially if it's a developer who may not even live in the county.

Thanks for setting this up. These commissioners here are not interested in what people want.

I am not a farmer but I live next to a large farm and I am a firm believer in family agriculture and not a supporter nor fan of suburban sprawl. Please remove the Alternative Subdivision provision in the Land Development code.

Sadly my small country town has become ridiculously conjested, crowded to a fault as we are too small to hold this many people and fast paced at the rate of being dangerous.

I grew up in North Metro Atlanta in the 50's and 60's and lived there until a little over 10 years ago. From 1st hand experience, I can tell you what happens with rampant, out of control development. You won't be happy with the results and that's a promise.

There’s reason we chose to live in the country. And it’s not to be piled up on other people.

Zoning is vital to retain the countryside
