We built in the country so that we could enjoy nature, quiet and have land between us and our neighbors. We did not move to a rural area to see neighborhood after neighborhood full of houses within reach of each other.

The change in zoning rules will be harmvul to farmers as well as citizens in general of Santa Rosa County. The Alternative Subdivision provision must be eliminated.

NOT GOOD.. THEY ALREADY HAVE CLEARED ALOT OF LQND IN FRINT OF MY HOME TO INSTALL SOLAR PANELS ,WHILE KILLING AND RUNNING OFF THE WILD LIFE FROM THIER HABITS. I SEE DEAD ANIMALS ALONG HWY 90 ALOT SINCE THEVE BEEN CLEARING, RAPING THE LAND.. THE DUST,SMOKE,ASHES GETS ALL OVER OUR LIVE STOCK, GARDENS,CARS. NOW I SEE THEY WANT TO DO THE SAME IN THE BACK OF MY PROPERTY. ITS NOT RIGHT...

Stop putting housing before farming!!! Farmers contribute more than tax dollars to this area. When you’ve covered all the farm land in housing communities whose going to fill the vacancies you created by eliminating farmers?

Too late for me. Paul Griswold sold the 80 acres next to me and now DR Horton is putting 67 houses on it. Maybe there is still time to save other farms. Thanks a lot County Commissioners!

Another get rich scheme for land developers at the expense of county citizens who desire a rural lifestyle and families in quiet, safe neighborhoods that want the zoning to remain for single family homes.
