Walking the grounds of the cemetery reminds me why this land remains sacred and worth defending against development. I have been in contact with local planning officials to ensure they understand that these historic vistas are not just open space but a vital part of our collective heritage.

My family has walked these sacred grounds for generations and seeing this momentum grow gives me real hope for our history. We are getting very near the one hundred mark right now. Please get this in front of anyone else who cares about keeping these hills clear and untouched.

Loudoun County does not need another housing subdivision! Please protect this historic site and it's viewshed. Oatlands lost it's battle years ago with their viewshed; let's not let this happen to this important historic site.
The Battle of Aldie was the largest cavalry battle in North America. Our heritage and historic sites should be protected, because once developed it is lost forever. Say NO to developing this property!

It has been abundantly clear for some time that Loudoun County leadership is more concerned about raising Loudoun's tax base than they are about maintaining the county's rural quality of life and historic heritage.
Since Mt. Zion Preservation Association was founded in the late 1970’s as a Bicentennial project I have found it a very special part of our local history. And as it is again under threat, we must do all we can to protect the historic land around it.
May YAHAWEHSHUA be with us always.

This is an historic site and should be preserved in its natural surroundings. The history of our County is precious and requires top priority in its preservation. Encroachment upon and destruction of historical sites/ landmarks can never be undone once enacted.
