In order to maintain the rural feel and character of Milton, I urge City Council to uphold the 3 acre minimum requirement on all lots on, or adjacent to, gravel roads. Any asphalt put down on gravel roads to increase the safety at gravel road intersections does not make that length of asphalt a "paved road". All zoning laws should be strictly upheld and enforced along the entire length of gravel roads.
The momentum behind this petition is substantial as we approach two hundred and fifty signatures. Please present this document to your neighbors today to ensure our position remains clear before the upcoming council session.

This is one of the few iconic, rural equestrian areas left in Milton. Please do the right thing and preserve the 3 acre minimum acreage as well as the gravel road.

Milton's gravel roads are one of the unique aspects of the community that make it so special. Progress does not necessarily mean clear-cutting all trees and replacing them with neighborhoods, roads, or offices, not does it mean paving over the few gravel roads that remain as a sign of a simpler time.

Three acre minimums on land adjacent to all gravel roads should be upheld. Gravel roads and larger acreage adjacent to them is critical to upholding our community's rural character.

I just bought a house on a gravel road in Milton (Summit Road)...and the PRIMARY reason I bought the house was due to the 3 acre minimum requirement.

Wood Road is and always has been designated a gravel road. It is a Milton icon and a City treasure. If the City is serious about protecting what is unique about Milton, they must start acting accordingly and deny this backdoor attempt for 1 acre lots on a gravel road.

Our dirt roads are a key part of the Region’s history, and modern beauty. A place away from the tarmac and bustle of N. ATLs hustle and bustle. Enjoyed by walkers, runners, cyclists and even horseback riders. Please preserve them.

We moved to Milton from downtown Atlanta for its rural charm. Let Alpharetta, Roswell, and the like do their own thing. Keep Milton Rural!
