My spouse works at Brittingham elementary and we are both very concerned about the increase of traffic around the school if this goes into effect. We strongly oppose the location!

I’m a resident of Rehoboth Beach. My sister and her family lives in Milton. I have done a lot of fun things around historic Milton including Horror Trailer Challenge at the Milton Theatre and Zombie Fest hosted by Milton historical Society. Please, let this town stay quaint and humble the way it is best. It is a beautiful town the just way it is.

Better suited somewhere on Rt 16

I'm all for jobs, revenue and smart growth, but this location is not suited for the proposed re-zoning. Go with another location.

Not necessary. Maybe bigger schools. Or Iron Hill Brewing headquarters....oh wait, we have laws against that but not UNLIMITED business parks. Resident of Ellendale here.

A complex of this nature should not be located in the heart of the downtown. The Route 16 corridor or somewhere closer to Rt. 1 would be a much more suitable location. Paving and building such a large complex will lead to more runoff of stormwater that will travel downhill, exacerbating an ongoing flooding problem. If the Town needs the ratables this provides, then an alternate location in the district should be found. Perhaps the district needs to grow and the Town should request changing the district boundaries to include areas where commercial/light industry use would be part of a more sustainable, long term plan for growth.

This would be a hideous blot on our lively little town. Keep the giant parking lots and office buildings on main thoroughfares like 16, not inside town limits!

It would be great to have this in Milton, but at a different location!

Need to let each Council member know our reasoning. A combined petition is good, but individual letters and calls are even better. They will see this petition as one response. If each signer also sends an individual letters, the numbers mount up in their thinking.

I am all for progress. But keep it out of town, keep traffic off of Mulberry where tons of children walk back and forth to school.

Milton does not have the roads needed for a building of this sort. This is within the historic district. Please look for a different site.

Good idea. Bad location. It will not fit in with the comprehensive plan.

I went to the presentation by the developers and it was absolutely will thought out and embarrassing to listen to their proposal. We should never take residential property and open it up to commercial development. It is not a good thing for our community and certainly not good for the homeowners and the school that are right by this area. There are many other places that would be better for a medical concern and can serve our community without ruining our community.

There is so much empty land on 16. No need to drop this on a residential street and in a school zone.
