It would cost the university a lot more in mental health services if the bunnies were lost

I have a bunny as a pet and whenever we go for walks I always am watching for dogs. Mainly because dog owners blame the prey animal, “they are just a dog following their instincts, you shouldn’t have a rabbit outside.” I also have two dogs and a cat, not once has either tried to harm my rabbit. I catch them snuggling a lot. It’s the fact that people don’t take the time or energy to train their pets, and when the pet goes crazy they don’t try to control them. They instantly place the blame on me and my rabbit. These aren’t just prey animals, these are our little gardeners fertilizing our gardens and balancing our ecosystems.
