In the area where I live we have quite a few different types of these turtles. We need to do something about how many of them are needlessly run over by people, when all it takes is a couple minutes to stop and pick one up to take it across the road.

Please look after these guys. I have seen so many areas of wetlands and forests get developed in my life time instead of us getting a richer more diverse ecosystem for everyone/thing. It is time

This is a heavily travelled area and one that is also highly vulnerable wetland with lots of at-risk and endangered turtles crossing. Exclusion fencing should be mandatory in such sensitive areas

Exclusion barriers should be standard practice for all roads that intersect provincially significant wetlands particularily those in high traffic areas.

Please put the necessary fences up to stop the constant torture of the turtles from cars. We need to protect our valuable wildlife from being extinguished in our municipality.

Just something I’ve observed. I think there’s some of that pragmatic grass starting in that waterway. Sorry my spelling is wrong. It’s that very invasive grass that chokes out the waterways.
