Tens of thousands of Delawareans and also the surrounding tri-state area,use facebook and other apps to buy,sell,and trade new and used goods. These groups have been active for quite some time,with absolutely no guarantee of safety. In order to create a safe haven,if you will,for buyers and sellers,we the people,ask that there be designated "sell safe" parking spots at all local police stations,and possibly other facilities throughout the state that exercise the use of cameras. This protects all of us to an extent that we dont have now. By possibly making a potential "robber" think twice,knowing the spot is being monitored. Please consider our petition. Funds for the signs could possibly be raised by local selling groups. Other cities and states are already implementing the safe spots,including Wilmington IL.
