I think this single action a an act of terrorism against our agenda to fighting climate change. Any attempt by government or any institution to divert our carbon credit funds for any other intentions apart from what it is meant for is dangerous than Russia-Ukraine war. This must end now!!

I strongly believe that climate change and sustainability challenges is a major area of concern for the Republic of Ghana. Therefore, the funds made for it should be used for it

**Reallocate 100% of carbon credit funds** to: - Reforestation and ecosystem restoration programs. - Renewable energy projects to phase out fossil fuel dependence. - Climate adaptation initiatives for flood- and drought-prone communities. - Transparency mechanisms to ensure public oversight of carbon credit spending. 3. **Engage civil society, climate experts, and affected communities** in all decisions about carbon credit revenue allocation. 4. **Review and reform pension schemes** for public officials through inclusive, ethical processes—not at the expense of climate action.

It is my hope that the voice of the people will be heard because that is why Parliament exists; to promote, protect and prioritize our interests.

Why should climate funds be directed at paying pension funds of MPs whose vehicles are powered by fossil fuels. This doesn't add up
