The Marion High School Class of 2016 is petitioning to be allowed to decorate their graduation caps for the graduation ceremony. Several high schools and a few colleges allow students to decorate their caps in a non-offensive manner that reflects their accomplishments and personalities. Not all seniors have their accomplishments displayed with a stole or cord, so by allowing seniors to decorate their caps all seniors can be recognized.
