This is a petition signed on behalf of the following Oral Roberts University student and faculty body to not allow Presidential Candidate Donald Trump from coming to ORU. We would like to make it clear that this petition is not due to political bias, but rather we feel offended by comments that Mr. Trump has made in the past. This is our home, an extremely diverse student body and we would like to keep it as unprejudice as possible.

Alumni of ORU, it's in the best interest of a multi cultural and internationally represented university to keep all members in mind and that would mean not bringing attention nor acceptance of one of the most outspoken racists in our current world politics.
I do not support the many negative comments coming from Mr. Trump in his campaign for the Presidency of the United States. His style of campaigning is offensive to me. Please do not allow him a venue to discriminate and offend.
I think Oral Robert should be impartial to the politics that we face. To bring Donald Trump here to speak is to sign his ticket for support. Rubio has already spoken on this campus and I have yet to see a democratic candidate come on this campus. Keep ORU impartial to the politics
Donald Trump has openly stated he has never asked for forgiveness. That lack of humility does not mix with the values of ORU! The openly racist, bigoted, and highly unconstitutional rhetoric Trump spouts is far apart from what any of my fellow Tulans believe in.
I don't think Mr. Trump represents the values this university stands on, and I think it'd be shameful to host him here. I take pride in this university and my affiliation with it, and this is truly disheartening to me. I sign this petition because I have an integrity to uphold.
DO NOT LET TRUMP CAUSE MORE DEATHS FROM COVID-19! He is the most divisive “leader” not to mention the public health crisis he is likely to cause which he is protecting himself from physically & fiscally by making people sign an agreement that they won’t sue him if they get COVID. He doesn’t care about the people he expects to manipulate into voting for him. He only cares about having & keeping power to exploit for his personal use.
the wisest thing to do is to keep that man off this campus grounds, it's a danger hazard and will be very controversial. Lets be guided.

Trump is polarizing and divisive. With ORU mission to go into every man's world, his rhetoric does not allign with embracing the world. Plus ORU has a ton of international students that his immigration policies don't support.
