The censorship of comments on Profootballtalk.com must go.
Semingly harmless comments get snipped while more (relatively speaking) egregious comments go unscathed.
As long as the comments do not cross boundaries of decency, racism, hate, comments must be allowed to be posted.
Sign this petition to let PFT know there are people that are really unhappy with their censors.
The lack of an ability for users to discuss the censors is why the problem is so unknown. Comments gets deleted, users get deleted, and are never given a reason why. There's no way for them to ask for a reason or to complain, so the only person who knows is the user, aside from the censor.

Have cited sources, evidence to contradict the argument of renaming the Redskins (am a Saints fan); have also questioned examples of apparent bias on the part of Darin Gnat, a former Panthers beat writer; mostly have challenged Florio on his liberal politics and agenda; amazed at his hypocrisy how he espouses individual rights as a lawyer yet he and his staff won't tolerate a difference of opinion; I'd just like to see him have to answer that criticism in un uncensored, unscripted television broadcast forum...

You can’t even cite articles that they’ve written. They crapped all over Kaepernicks play in his last year in the league but act clueless as to why he’s not on a team now. That’s just one example but it applies to every topic. Always shaping the narrative.

Consistently censoring comments if it doesn't fit the articles agenda. It's definitely very real. I went to search if there were anybody talking about it and it brought me here. Slanted torwards the left leaning crowd. Controlled speech geared towards influencing its reader to believe they are in the majority when its many times its the opposite or very much 50/50. Many comments that just aren't even controversial or hateful are still being censored.

Florio is, by far, the most heavy handed and cowardly censor I have ever encountered. He flat-out can't handle the slightest dissent to his articles.
