Council redundancies are on the rise. Service users everywhere are being hit hard as their services are either cut back, closed or privatised.

And all the evidence and experience shows that once services are run for private profit, the quality of care and service is reduced.

The real causes of the recession and their knock-on effect on our public debt have been ignored and now the public sector, not the greedy, imprudent banks have to pay the price.

That's why we're fighting hard to protect services for the public and make sure our public sector workers have decent jobs.

Watford Council are considering privatising Street Cleansing, Refuse, Recycling and Parks. If you are happy with the current service ran by the council and oppose privatisation please can you sign this petition.
