Prioritize SCAD Upperclassmen in Housing

I got booted from the housing lineup for no reason and I literally wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy

This is cruel and unjust, with only their own greed fueling their decisions

A disgustingly blatant excuse to prioritize profits over students. They’ve always been hungry for money while practically owning Savannah, they’re just saying it out loud. Despicable.

why betray the kids that youve already accepted and had for multiple years? do better.

If SCAD wanted to make a decision like this they should have phased it in and not tied scholarships to it. This is unfair to the students who now have to scramble to figure out their finances, and personally it has completely overhauled my plans until graduation.

As a SCAD Alumni, upperclassmen with more credits should be prioritized in housing... especially with capstones and preparing to enter the industry!! Not guaranteing them housing and pushing them off campus adds so much unnecessary stress to those who have dedicated so much time already to this school. SCAD, do not continue to punish your current students to appeal to the new.

Absolutely ridiculous that we have to worry about this issue going into 3rd year at scad. Very disappointing - wonder if it has anything to do with their retention rate ?!?! Hmmmm

SCAD is making yet another ignorant mistake!! Why would they not prioritize those who have paid them the most money?

Honestly instead of doing the obvious solution of accepting fewer students, SCAD has decided to disregard its current students and force them into off campus housing. A student should never be promised the idea of on-campus housing, to the extent that their scholarship is dependent on that fact, and then told they are no longer a priority of the school they pay thousands upon thousands of dollars to attend. That is unacceptable

This is extremely disappointing, the fact that we have to fight to get housing is exhausting. On top of that, we still pay the extreme fees and tuition (without guarantee housing). Scad lost their focus on helping students succeed, it is evident that their new goal is to collect as much money as they can…gross

Just do it man
