This is an insult to the students who have worked hard and just wanted the luxury of better housing or any housing at all

Upperclassmen need placement too. We didn't sign up for this.

Yeah it socks that they prioritize the freshmen, and not the seniors who hadmve been here much longer spent alot of money and put in so much work to be here and succeed

Kicking out students because of a mistake that SCAD made is ridiculous. If SCAD needs to lower their acceptance rate with the growing amount of student applying. Upperclassmen should not have to suffer because SCAD made a stupid mistake.

Housing is the responsibility of the University in this housing crisis. Limit your new students to what you can accommodate.

What about students with scholarships requiring living in student housing!

I’m paying too damn much to not have a place to live.

SCAD did this poorly. You could have waited until classes were complete for this season and most Bees were with their families to launch this laughable excuse for housing plan. The timing, the wording, the push up of the housing date the cost you may or may not get back. The fact that the school is sitting on 1.4 billion dollars and thinks this is ok - this is going to be a thing

So rude to your upperclassmen that have paid your high tuition for so many years!

This is by no means what we “signed up for” when committing to SCAD. This is a tremendous disappointment and disservice to our upperclassman kids and their morale. It also makes a huge financial impact on families who really rely on the extra scholarship dollars that are tied to living on campus.

At least get rid of the on campus housing requirement to keep a scholarship; why are those even related?

Every institution should prioritize the students who have spent the most time and money.

Students who have shown commitment to school and education should be prioritize for housing to finish what they started without fear of not having place to live
