Thank you for your support as we finalized the licensing agreement with their publishing office. We will monitor the first print runs to ensure the strip appears consistently in the upcoming issues.

Signers of this petition believe that the military comic strip Delta Bravo Sierra (DBS) would make an excellent addition to the Army Times newspaper.
DBS aims to provide a laugh to members of our Armed Forces and their supporters and we feel that this is an important mission now more than ever.
Delta Bravo Sierra was created by Damon Bryan Shackelford in 2007 as a way to give back to the United States Army. Jump forward to today and we are still dedicated to this mission.
The strip follows the antics of U.S. Army Soldiers who are currently deployed to Afghanistan. Plots revolve around familiar components of “The Soldiers’ Story” including work, pranks, in-jokes, and love.

I have finalized the formal proposal for the Army Times editorial board regarding the inclusion of the strip. This document outlines the recurring themes within Delta Bravo Sierra and highlights the established readership engagement from our current audience. I am currently awaiting a confirmation on the submission receipt from their advertising department.

The humor in this strip can be dark at times, but it is usually right on the money!!! Print it!
Being an Army vet I figure most all Joes would enjoy reading DBS & truly relate & appreciate its humor
Been reading DBS for years now. It captures the real stuff better than anything else out there. Give the troops a laugh.
DBS is a classic. Used to follow it back in the day and it hits home every time. Put it in the paper already.
MY HUSBAND IS DEPLOYED AND WE BOTH LOVE THESE STRIPS. BRING SOME HUMOR TO THE ARMY TIMES PLEASE!!!!

DBS would make a great addition to the Army Times. It is slick, professional, and speaks to soldiers.
