This petition is to make parents aware of the effects cutting lunch times for school children wil have on them not only is a school lunch the only meal some children have. I believe cutting the lunch times down is behavioral management tool and not for the benefit of the children as half an hr to get the lunch hall wait for the food pay for the food sit down and eat maybe use the toilet and get to the next lesson is not long enough and wil cos more stress and animosity within the school as parents we should have been consulted as this wil affect our children the average school day is roughly 6hrs just google the average school time and schools are doing this quickly and quietly in hope it’s in place before parents object or try raise concerns I don’t believe this is beneficial to children and I hope more parents get involved and ask their children how they feel it wil affect their school life and sign the petition which is fully against this new timetable
