Insurance should be affordable to all young and old even to put a name driver down now cost a fortune so parents arent putting there children on their policies i no i cant afford to put my children on mine

It's a disgrace how the price on car insurance is so high and yet they wonder why people won't buy tax and insurance.
Car insurance should be the same price as it was back then !! How else will people learn to drive !!!

I have no points or anything. Few years no claims and I'm getting quoted 4000 on a jap import. What makes it even worse on a 68bhp 1.4 diesel I'm getting quotes of 2k plus. Which is more expensive than when I started driving

Insurance is a joke at the moment im paying nearly as much as i was when i first started driving on a provisional license and i hear im not the only person gettin crazy quotes, i've never had a claim or any penalty points or any driving offences and cant even insure my 97 car third party fire and theft. It isnt fair that everyone is treated the same when some of us arent making the same as others and cant afford big premiums, insurance is a joke and you are robbing people of money that could be spent elsewhere and acc help families in a time of need. Simple as - insurance is too expensive !
I don't mind Yous put premiums up for those who have claimed but it's ridiculous the amount of money Yous are looking for model drivers to pay

I have no problem paying insurance, what does annoy me is the fact that my insurance costs more than my car is worth. I need a car as I live in rural Ireland with no bus services, as with new motorways which is fantastic but now means small villages and towns are not on bus routes. Which means travelling to college everyday and dropping my son to creche by car, if the premium is raised again this year I do not think I can afford the running costs of a car, tax and insurance. So I'm at home in my beautiful village all of the time. Thanks a Fucking million

Insurance is far to dear , it is rediclious the price they are expecting young drivers to pay this sort of money. Paying insurance that is aboyt five times the price there car is worth. Everyone needs to be well off to be able to afford insurance like this! . It is just going to leave everyone driving with no insurance and make the roads more dangerous for everyone. Something needs to be done!
